I.Brief Introduction

Different animals have different requirements to the pellet size in different growing period. Roller crusher is the specially made equipment to crush the big pellets into smaller pellets. If using the pellet mill to press the smaller pellets directly, the capacity will be lower and causes much energy consumption. While using the roller crusher can keep the large capacity and the only energy added is that of using to crushing. Compared with pelletizing the smaller pellets, the capacity will be improved 3-4 times and the energy consumed will be lowed to 2-3 times. It is a necessary equipment in pellet making section. Generally, pellets with diameter of 4.5-6mm can be crushed into 0.7-1.5 or 1-2.5mm smaller pellets.

 II. Advantages and Features:

Compact structure.  Convenient to adjust the size of the crumbled pellets. Good effect in differential rotational speed transmission speed of the rollers. Pellets that do not need to be crushed can be bypassed. Belt driven with balanced transmission and lower noise.

III. Working principle of the machine:

Roller crusher is composed of control port, fast and slow roller, transmission structure, roll clearance adjustment structure and tension structure etc.

After cooling by the counter flow cooler, the pellets get into the feeding port of the crusher, getting into the fast and slow rollers by open valve and materials plates. There are furrows in the surface of the rollers.through crushing and differential rotational speed shearing action of the two rollers, the pellets get crushed. If you do not need to crush the pellets, the push of the operating lever can turn off the valve and the pellets get bypassed. By pressing the travel switch, the motor of the roller crusher get stopped.

It can use to crush the corn into smaller pieces. 

The roller crusher is also an important component of animal feed pellet production line.

It is mainly used in the chicken feed pellet production line to crush the big pellets into smaller ones to be suitable for the chickens with different ages. 

Generally, the roller crusher works together with the counterflow cooler. After cooling, the pellets get into the crumbler to get crushed.
